The aim of the text is to argue in favour of prioritising the teaching of philosophy in secondary school (high school) as philosophical formation of pupils rather than provision of information about philosophy. It argues with reference to law, actual practise and ultimately necessity that the idea of the university should already be taken into account at high school. If at least a minority of the population is to be familiarised with what philosophy really is, and if this smaller percentage of people is at least in part to develop its own critical thinking, the process has to start at middle school, because the situation there is analogical to the situation in the lower programmes of universities.
