Professor at the Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, Copenhagen, and Professor at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway. Prof. Moos has for many years been involved in Danish and international research projects on school leadership and related topics, resulting in a number of publications. He also teaches school leadership and professional development. He is engaged in several international research journals and is President of the European Educational Research Association.<\/p>\n

A Portuguese national, a Senior Analyst in the OECD Directorate for Education, where he has been since 2000. He is currently the co-ordinator of the OECD Review on Evaluation and Assessment Frameworks for Improving School Outcomes. He has previously assumed responsibility for two major cross-country reviews, each with the participation of over twenty countries: a review of teacher policy (between 2002 and 2005, leading to the OECD publication \u201cTeachers Matter\u201d) and the thematic review of tertiary education (between 2005 and 2008, leading to the OECD publication \u201cTertiary Education for the Knowledge Society\u201d). He has also led reviews of teacher policy and tertiary education policy in several countries. He holds a PhD in Economics from Northwestern University, United States, where he also lectured. With a background in the economics of education, he specialises in education policy analysis.<\/p>\n
