locked=&#8220;off&#8220;]<\/p>\n<p>Center for Educational Measurement and Psychometrics, CEMP, is funded as<br \/> PRIMUS project under The Institute for <span style=\"color: #0c71c3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.pedf.cuni.cz\/uvrv-en\/\" style=\"color: #0c71c3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Research and Development of <\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span><br \/> <span style=\"color: #0c71c3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.pedf.cuni.cz\/uvrv-en\/\" style=\"color: #0c71c3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Education<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span> by <a href=\"https:\/\/pedf.cuni.cz\/PEDFEN-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #0c71c3\"><strong>Faculty of Education<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cuni.cz\/UKEN-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #0c71c3\"><strong>Charles <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #0c71c3\"><strong>University.<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Aim of the project is to use modern psychometric methods to analyze group differences in educational measurement, caused\u00a0by gender, region, type of school, ethnicity, first language etc. Project covers methodology of psychometric models,\u00a0especially models for detection of differential item functioning, mixed regression and latent models.<br \/> <span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><br \/> These methods are\u00a0further applied to data coming from formative assessment, such as concept inventories, as well as to data coming from\u00a0summative assessment and high-stakes testing, such as leaving examinations or admission tests.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As part of the project, new\u00a0psychometric models are proposed, properties of which are studied by means of simulation studies.<\/p>\n<p>New methods are\u00a0provided to wide research community by means of freely available software.
