The article is devoted to the general starting-points and the general approaches to the conception of the first-grade basic schools teachers studies. In the 1st part the main problems of this type of the teachers’ studies are deliminated, the absence of any entire philosophy of the teacher’s profession at the first grade, the multidisciplinary study and its low integrity — im connection with the former item- unification and normativity of this study, an unsufficient accent on the general education, an unsatisfacory system of the practical preparation etc. belonging among those major problems. In the second part of the article concrete approaches to the solving of the chosen problems are indicated, those problems presenting the basic frame of the new conception of the in- service preparation of the firstgrade basic school teachers.
