Key words:
The practice of teachers at dozens of basic schools involved in the „Creative School“ project confirms that the active methods and teaching techniques implemented by the project respect the demand for change in the role of the school of a kind to make it an institution with more social impact and meet the current demands of educational policy expressed, for example, in the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education [RVP ZVj. We believe that the model of active learning put forward in the context of the Creative School project, which relies on findings tried and tested by long-term pedagogic experience, is helping in the realisation of the internal reform of the school and contributing to overcoming a one-sided receptive, memory-based and encyclopaedic concept of the content of education. In this context, co-operation between teachers in the network of creative schools and the collaborative creation of the Creative School programme could have a positive influence on the drawing up of School Educational Programmes for Basic Education.
