The article reports on the research carried out on the secondary level of elementary scools in the district of Prague ž by means of questionnaires. Its objective was to map the state of discipline (or lack of discipline) in these schools. Teachers and pupils were asked to give answers about b ehaviour transgressions occurring most frequently in their school. The results point out problems linked with the pupils behaviour. Female teachers judgements (evalutions) correspond, in fact to those of male teachers, and the same could be said about the evaluations of both girls and boys. The results confirm personal experiences of the author of the inquiry during his research stay in the field.
