The paper contains results of a social-psychological research in music education (evaluated by means of a sociometric procedure combined with a test of music-abilities, and some other methods based on Petrovsky’s stratometric theory of the small social groups). The differences in perception between the task-oriented and emotional leaders, as well as use of a measurement of classroom climate work, in connection with the musical experiment are also presented. Modern approaches to the social processes in music pedagogic are correlated with trends in our country and abroad. The interpretation of these trends is analyzed from the point of view ol'their psychological-pedagogical relevance.
