The process of teachers’ professionalization is shaped by changes of the nature of the school institution (overall democratization, multiculturalism and heterogeneity of students and decentralization). These pressures introduce new dimensions in the activity of teachers (ethic dimension, enhancing its collectivistic nature and stressing the psycho-didactic aspects). Empirical findings reveal different logics of the common construction of the sense of learning in pupils (untilitaristic, experience based or epistemology based).
