The newly designed set of 23 working sheets for the laboratory work in the forms V - VIII of the basic school has become the object of the research.
The goal of the research was to verify the designed set, and according to the achieved results to, evaluate its significance for the achieving of better quality of practicing the learnenrs skills and working activities.
During the research the methods of tests, observing and analyses of the written work of the learners were exploited when making the diagnosis and the elaborating of the results of the research the so called test of independence was used, this being created through the contingent table and the conformation or denying of the zero hypothesis of the test. Two types of tests served to the final testing - the skills test and the laboratory test. The achieved results make it obvious that a properly conceived working sheer help practic practise the skills in laboratory work lessons, and therefore that it is possible to use the designed set successfully both (both) at the basic school and at the newly originating more years grammar schools.
