With the university of Bielefeld the experimental schools "Laborschule" and the "Oberstufen-Kolleg" carry out a long-term co-operation. The outing point of their activities is the conception whose foundations were created by H. V. Hentig. Hentig states changes in the contemporary function of the school as well as changes in the children's and young poeple's position in the society. He formulated a number of principles joint among themselves and creating the foundations in the school education organization, in the contens and methods of the school education. The leading idea of those reform aims is the humanization of the school. The study makes the reader thoroughly acquinted not only with the theoretical starting points but above all with the practival realization of the Bielefield school experiments.
