In Czechoslovakia a more intensive attention is paid to the problems of the state family policy, and that in connections with actual tasks of the reconstruction of the economic mechanism as well as of the enhancing of the socially-economic advance. It is emphasized in this study that its effectivity is largely depending on the effectivity of young people’s education for married life and parentage. Even though a number of pieces of success are stated in this area, e. g. thanks to the activities of the women’s organization or the development of the matrimonial and pre-matrimonial bureaus of advice, a certain stagnation in the advance of the complex conception is felt, this fact being conformed by the data about the devotees in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
In the contemporary sociological theory of the family and the youth mementos concerning the one-sided understanding of the problems of married life and family life are formulated and the underappreciating of broader social relations of the educational work among the youth are mentioned. The author of the study argues with the educationalists especially in the question of the rightfulness of some professional groups (educationalists, psychologists, physicians, lawyers) to put forward their own group or individual re-evaluated norms as moral ones. In the study the results of sociological researches of the youth are confronted with the educationalists’ ideas of how to secure the educational activity among the youth.
The enhancing of the effectivity of the young people’s education for married life and parentage is unthinkable without the working collectives and economic managements of the working organizations, the Trade Unions including, being more commited on this problem.
