The purpose of this article is to present an evaluating survey of the contemporary trends which are putting themselves through in the French didactic and (psycho)didactic researches. The survey is anchored in the knowledge acquired during the author's visit to some institution of pedagogical and psychological research of the universities in Grenoble and Paris and in the study of the literature which is cited here. In the first part the characteristic of the contemporary educational system in France and the main principles of the school politics there are presented.
In the second part the main features of the (psycho)didactic researches are described, and that form the point of their object and methodological approaches.
The third part informs about the centres of the didactic research and about the most important sources of information.
