The author puts forward a proposal for pedagogico-hygienic norms of the organization and content of health education at elementary nine-year schools, in particular with regard to physical training. He accounts for the necessity of intensifying health education in the educational system of the elementary nine-year school, especially in P. T. lessons. He mentions the problems involved as well as the methods used in the research, and the results of the health research in physical training in the first five years of the elementary school. The author divides health education within the framework of physical training into three components: a) He deals first with the system of current health education within the framework of P. T. lessons, b) he proposes a system of supplementary exercises of a hygienic character, c) he points out the possibilities of distributing health topics in P. T. classes in the course of a school year. The study is concluded with health-educational recommendations for P. T. practice.
