The article contains the suggestion for defining the subject of the theory of P. T. Aching as a separate discipline of pedagogy. It formulates not only the object of this theory but it also discusses certain teter-disciplinary relations, and aims at lining thematic groups of study. The author goes on to prove that out-of- School physical training and supervised sports training, too, have the character teaching and therefore their study is ^art of the above-mentioned pedagogical helpline. He also tries to differentiate between the content of some notions (physical training, games, teaching in physical training) from the pedagogical angle. When trying to formulate the theory of P. T. teaching as a discipline of science he necessarily proceeds from pedagogy and therefore he also gives some thought to the problems of pedagogy as a science. The thematic groups are given as being open to discussion. The article aims at creating theoretical scope for papers being compiled in this field.
