The principal investigator\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pages.pedf.cuni.cz\/uvrv-en\/vit-stastny\/\">dr. V\u00edt \u0160\u0165astn\u00fd<\/a>\u00a0will collaborate with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.edu.hku.hk\/faculty-academics\/nutsak\">dr. Nutsa Kobakhidze<\/a>\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/cerc.edu.hku.hk\/\">Comparative Education Research Centre, University of Hong Kong<\/a>) on the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal of the research is to develop a comprehensive theory that explains parents\u2019 decisionmaking process for arranging (or abstaining from) different types of private tutoring for their children in connection with different life situations, circumstances and contexts. Qualitative empirical research will draw on the design of grounded theory to investigate the decision-making process of parents of secondary school students regarding the use of different types of private tutoring.
