Příspěvek nastiňuje možnosti (opory a rizika) konceptu hry na klavír jako CLIL a informuje o projektech CLIL pro dvě různé instituce: Základní uměleckou školu Tišnov (2000-2007) a Metodické centrum Hudební fakulty Janáčkovy akademie múzických umění v Brně (2004-2007). Popisuje použité metody, průběh, evaluaci a pedagogický výzkum CLIL a navrhuje předběžný počet lexikálních jednotek pro úrovně Al (300-500 jednotek) a A2 (1000-1500 jednotek) Společného evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky.
Annotation:
Modern European education uses the CLIL-concept (CLIL = Content and Lan-guage Integrated Learning). This concept is gradually being implemented in the Czech Republic as well. Primary arts schools are part of the educational system of the Czech Republic. Study in these schools is voluntary for pupils - both in the music field of study and in the subject of piano playing. The language of communication here is usually Czech. This situation is a challenge as regards transformation of the subject into CLIL with communication in a foreign language (English or German). The main pillar of this possibility is the fact that instruction in piano playing is individual and facilitates individual teacher‘s and also pupil‘s solutions. Two CLIL-projects have therefore been developed with this context in mind:
• a project for the Primary Arts School in Tišnov. The individual phases of this project have proceeded in the form of a teaching trial 2000-2007. The suitability of the CLIL-concept for the pupils was measured through action research. The research included 10 items - specifically piano playing, foreign-language communication and pupil motivation. The five-point Likert scale was used for the evaluation universally. The final general score (mean) of 3.6 expresses the fact that the above-mentioned integration is more suitable for the pupils than not. But their relatively limited study possibilities and needs must be respected (currently approximately 500 dictionary lexical units as a motivational maximum) and their expected study persist-ence is uncertain (because it is still voluntary by definition!)
• a project for the Methodological Centre of the Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. The individual phases of this project proceeded in the form of language courses called „English at the piano“ and „German at the piano“ 2004-2007. The students here were mainly teachers from primary arts schools, and the lessons primarily involved especially model teaching situations at the piano. The graduates of the courses together with their pupils will decide whether the CLIL-concept will be implemented in their schools or not.
The contribution the describes aims, methods, progress, evaluations and other sleeted details of the project and the research. The provisionally proposed numbers of lexical units for piano playing as CLIL according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages are 300-500 units for level Al and 1000-1500 units for level A2. Present teachers of piano at primary arts schools in the Czech Republic now have a new poten-tial: to be a teacher of piano as CLIL.
