The study responds to the question in what and how we perceive J. A. Comenius’s work especially topically at the time present. At the same time it marks characteristic features in the conceptions of the curricula of the 20th century and their criticism from the side of the anthropologic and antiscientific streams. It emphasizes the need of a new educational conception and formulates some perspective tendencies of this conception.
