(EN) Questions of Developing Independent and Creative Work of Children and Young People at Educational Establishments with All-Day Care

The paper deals with questions concerning the development of the pupil’s independent and creative activities in connection with the organisation of the educational process at educational establishments with all-day care. The author believes that the basis philosophical and psychological problem is the relationship between freedom and necessity, between duties and hobbies; the author applies this problem to the pedagogical relationship between educational guidance and the pupil’s voluntary and free participation in the work and life of the education establishment. The problems concerning the content, the forms and methods of educational work at school clubs and boarding schools are tackled with a new approach. Furthermore an attempt is made at analysing the principle that the content, the forms and methods of this educational work must be appropriate for the age-group concerned and for the individual pupil.
