J. A. Comenius’s stay at Blatný Potok belongs to the most fruitful period of his life. At Blatný Potok J. A. Comenius returned to the teacher’s work after twenty two years which stimulated him to looking for new, effective methods. His ideal was to found a seven-forms pansofic school for ^hich he wrote a theoretical programme ^^lled „Schola Pansofica“. Also „Schola Latina Tribus Classibus Divida“ belongs among the Blatný Potok writings; it contains the teaching schedules for the first ^ forms of that seven-forms school. The elaborating of the school theatre plays summed up into the work „Schola Ludus“ ^i*e attached to Blatný Potok. Comenius *nade them a part of the programme of the Pansofic school. Also the world-wide known work „Orbis Pictus“ was written nere, the text-books Vestibula and both tanuas were revised in this place „Atrium“ as elaborated in Potok too. On the occassion of opening each Latin form he read a detailed introduction to the educational contents in that special class. Comenius tried to win George II Rakoczy by his work „Gentis felicitas.“ The world-wide famous work „Orbis Pictus“ was used even more than lanua. In this book he carried out the ideas concerning the matter-of-fact teaching as well as teaching languages at the best. Teaching at the Potok school J. A. Comenius achieved practical experience; the works elaborated at Blatný Potok make a part of the project „Opera Didactica Omnia. His educational programme as we know it from the Didactica and Pampaedia was made more precise here and it was complemented by other works written at Blatný Potok.
