This paper examines the specific factors encountered in the collaboration between psychologists and teachers in primary and secondary schools. The opening part of the article describes behavioural and learning difficulties of students and analyses tne relationship and co-operation between teachers and psychologists. With a test group of 41 teachers from primary schools, 32 teachers from secondary schools and 20 psychologists, we analysed respondents‘ expectations and requirements for the collaboration between psychologists and teachers, assessment of the fulfilment of these expectations, and recommendations or suggestions for making the co-operation more effective.
