(EN) Research In Comprehensive School Grade 8 Pupils‘ Professional Orientation

The article presents the empirical data concerning the professional choice of 523 Grade 8 pupils from a sample of comprehensive schools in the Czech Republic during the school year 1993/94. The efficiency of the professional choice and the level of education with respect to the pupils‘ intellectual prerequisites and personality traits have been evaluated. Two years later the stability of the choice and the subjective satisfaction of the pupils have been checked.
