The problems of the educational self-regulation of a personality is comprehended here in a broader context of the transformation of school in the direction to its humanization. The principle here is the development of pupils' inner pre-suppositions for realizing a high degree of their learning autonomy and competence. The problems of the educational self-regulation are articulated 1) in connection with the analysis of the educational environment; 2) in the frame given by the model of behaviour of an individual to him himself or to her herself, with emphasis on self-reinforcing, self-monitoring, self-instructing; 3) in the frame of procedures of the so called meaning-creating elaborations of the subject-matters; 4) in the frame of possibilities given by metacognitive stategies; 5) under the viewing angel of the application of the so called co-operative scripts; 6) and at last in connection with the active projecting of the life career of apersonality.
