(EN) The preparation of a socialist school teacher

The study is an analysis of the system of training a teacher at a socialist school, and that on the base of a description. It is based in the basic document «The further advance of the Czechoslovak educational system» (from the year 1976), and elaborates the conception of the teacher’s training according to this document It points at the state of the teacher’s training in our country, at the perspectives of a further advance of this training, and searches for the solving of the problems involved.
The elementary problem analysed here is seen in the inevitable oneness of the ideologically political, educational and pedagogical, and especially of the specification compounds of the training of future teachers, and in the process of acquiring that oneness during the training and education at schools of university level. The reader’s attention is also drawn to another problem: to the oneness of theory and practice in the teachers’ preparation, to the necessity of their penetrating into practice during their studies already, and in consequence of this also to the need of establishing conditions for the students practice at schools. Further on the study analyses the problem of how to secure the incorporation of educational aspects in professional contents of individual branches of the future teachers’ studies. It appears that most reserves are found in this area of the future teachers’ studies.
On the base of accepting the goal category - the profil of a graduate from this training - the contribution of the university to the acquiring of a high socially political standard is analysed here — and that both through the subjects of marxismleninism, and the students socially political practice as well as through other means. Great attention is paid here to the forming of the future teachers’ personality as of a creative factor in the teaching and all other work with children and youth. In connection with this the question of the students’ motivation for the work at schools, for the work with children and youth are analysed here. It is stated in his study that the teachers’ work has an expressive ideological and political value and therefore that it is necessary not only to prepare the teacher, but also to choose him for this position.
The study is conclued with the stating that a number of problems which still exist in the teachers’ training will be solved through a further advance of educational and psychological qualification together with other aspects of teachers’ preparation.
