(CZ) Súčasný stav a perspektívy všeobecného polytechnického vzdelania na stredných školách
(EN) Present-Day State and Perspectives of General Polytechnic Education at Secondary Schools

The author compared the number of general education subjects, theoretical vocational subjects and hours of vocational training in curriculum of general secondary schools, secondary vocational schools and secondary vocational training centers in Czechoslovakia. He also confronted these numbers with the social function of the subjects defined in Educational Law of the 22nd of March 1984. The results of the comparison show that the gradual functional bringing close the three types of subjects is not ensured enough in the contents of the preparation. The author formulates methodological bases of the position, and the functions of the general polytechnic education at secondary schools in our country in a period of their gradual and functional bringing close in a unified internally diferenciated secondary school. The opinions are formulated on the basis of the newest experiences ensueing from the position of general polytechnic education at Soviet secondary schools and they correspond to the perspectives involved in the document “Further development of Czechoslovak system of education”.
