(EN) The 25 Years of the Scientific Development of the Comenius Pedagogical Institute of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences and its Tasks

The study gives concrete characteristics of the scientific development of the Comenius Pedagogical Institute of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences for the 25 years of its existence; these characteristics are given within the context of the general development of Marxist pedagogy in Czechoslovakia. Mention is made of the groups of problems solved at various stages, as well as of the main results of scientific research work hitherto achieved. The reader is informed about the present-day conception of the Institute. An oudine is given of the basic perspectives of the Institute’s further scientific and research work, its tasks planned for the 7th Five Year Plan are pointed out. Attention is also paid to questions of the Comenius Pedagogical Institute’s co-operation with other pedagogical institutions and workplaces in Czechoslovakia, as well as to the problem of international relations, in particular to the Institute’s cooperation with Soviet educationists.
