In this article the author comments on the use of teaching principles in the instruction concerning production. The pedagogic achievement is in observing these principles and in mutual cooperation.
The principle of a scientist demands using progressive instruction methods so that in elected discipline the pupils acquire knowledges corresponding to the niveau of the present results of science. To be in accordance with the principle of systematic order and successloness In Instruction the teacher has to base upon the pupils’ knowledge acquired before and upon their maturity. The principle of uniting theory and practice in the instruction concerning production is on the one hand realized by uniting the teaching subjects of liberal education with the technical teaching subjects, on the other hand, by uniting theoretical subject matter with the productive work in school works, in factories, cooperative farms and soviet state farms. The author gives some examples of how to combine the subjects of instruction concerning production with physics, chemistry and biology.
The pupils’ activity and self confidence when they are working without assistance in production as well as when acquiring theoretical knowledges are very important. Intuitive, objective method of teaching sharpens the pupils’ edge of attention and industry, deepens their interest, extends funds of real conceptions. The author alleges three forms of closely uniting intuitiveness and lite ralexplication as used in the instruction concerning production.
The contents, forms and methods of the instruction concerning production must be in agreement with the age of children so that they acquire knowledges, abilities and practice without being overburdened. In order that the pupils observe the principles of firm mastered knowledges the author recommends carrying on the instruction concerning production twice in a week so that the theoretical knowledge and practical work were in due proportion. During teaching a pupils’ collective the teacher does well when gaining an Individual access to all pupils, without regard to their school progress, an when helping them to get rid of the defects as found out.
Besides the quoted principles the author still accents the polytechnical principle of instruction. The mentioned principles of Instruction in due proportion are to be set forth in educational process.
