(EN) The Formation od Socialist Attitude to Work among Younger Schoolchidren in the Family

Gradual and purposeful development of social motives is one of the essential pre-requisites for a successful formation of qualities characteristic for a socialist attitude to work. The author informs us of the first stage of the research the aim of which was to solve the question of what interdependence there is with younger schoolchildren between the motive of work and the perfomance of work. The research consists in assigning pupils of the 1st—5th grade tasks under different motives. The influence of social motives on the formation of a positive attitude to work and under what conditions this influence is most effective is then ascertained by comparing the children’s attitude to work, the quantity and quality of their work.
