(EN) Forty Years Since Klara Zetkin’s Death

This study, commemorating the 40th anniversary of Klara Zetkin’s death, describes her work as a contribution to the development of Marxist views of education in Germany and, on a broader scale, as a contribution to the development of Marxist pedagogy in Europe. It points out the links between the teaching profession and the activities of a revolutionary. It takes note of the struggle against the revisionism and opportunism of the Social Democratic , right wing, which placed the so called national education of all German people before class and proletarian education advocated by the Social Democratic Left and then In the twenties by the Communist Party of Germany. K. Zetkin was an outstanding critic of the bourgeois and petty bourgeois trends in pedagogy in the early 20th century. She put forward new suggestions for proletarian family education, and especially after October, 1917, orienting herself on the experiences of the Soviet school and Marxist pedagogy in the first Socialist state In the world, she helped to work out the programme of educational policy of the Communist Party of Germany.
