Annotation:
The paper proceeds from the ideas of the 24th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union concerning the development of socialism in the world and the laws governing the development of all socialist countries, laws whose operation makes itself felt in various forms corresponding to concrete conditions and specific national characteristics: The author applies these ideas to the field of schools, education, moral and intellectual training. He points out that the Czechoslovak pedagogy in the past has studied the results of pedagogical researches in the Soviet Union and other socialist countries. The development of the world socialist system and the findings of the 24th Congress of the CPSU about the laws governing the socialist system’s development encourages the Czechoslovak educationists to study more consistently the results of the pedagogical researches in the socialist countries, particularly in the Soviet Union, to make use of the results of these researches and to start organizing common pedagogical researches. It will be necessary to direct these researches to the study of general laws governing education, to th5 struggle with reactionary pedagogical theories and to the problems concerning the development of pedagogy as a Marxist science of moral and intellectual training of the youth as well as adults. In doing so, it will be necessary to study specific manifestations of the general laws of education in the concrete conditions of each socialist country. Then the author goes on to evaluate in more detail the significance of the conference of educationists from the socialist countries held from 24th to 26th August, 1971, in Moscow, for promoting the efforts for integration in the field of pedagogical research in the socialist states. Finally, he informs readers about the treaties of co-operation concluded by the pedagogical and psychological institutes in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic with the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences in the U.S.S.R. and with the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences in the German Democratic Republic.
