Annotation:
The formation of values, norms and attitudes, and the social development of university students being influenced by their environment both in and out of school, it is becoming more and more important for university pedagogy to get to know student infra-culture. The activities connected with cultural and artistic work at universities have a significant share in the creation of this infra-culture. Active participation of individuals in these pursuits has a highly positive influence in shaping the individuals personality, latently allows progressive cultivation and conquering the alienation of man from his human substance. The development of aesthetic feeling, the ability of emotionally perceiving the world, which can be realized through the intermediary of cultural and artistic work, simultaneously creates the possibilities of overcoming the consumer conformity of the young man. By experience, and by the rise of cultivated emotions, the young man’s world acquires completely new qualities, it becomes a value. When these pursuits represent student’s creation, they may in due course occupy more and more place in the minds and activities of the students. What of these activities is found in the psyche of the university student, actually forms the basis, the substance of the existence of university infra-culture.
