The author believes that the classical efficient to reliably ascertain the real group form of Moreno’s sociometry (whose great relations of individuals and the actual significance from the point of view of group structure of the population that is psychology he does not deny) is not such the subject of the research. In Moreno’s sociometry an individual’s relationship is determined to a very limited number of people only (as a rule to only one person) and also in the act of the choice, in the instruction to it the consideration that predominates, as a rule, is that of determining the relationship as a two person relationship. To supplement sociometric research the author proposes a group variant of the sociometric test whose substance and specific feature is the fact that the person examined is called upon explicitly to make up a group of people, to choose individuals with whom he or she would like to undertake a certain group action and the like. The author explains the substance of this sociometric procedure and shows how, on the basis of tables and sociograms and also by means of set percentile curves, to ascertain and (or interpret ≫group attractiveness≪ of individuals in a given population and also their ≫group orientation≪) liking for a certain size of the group, reliability in the choice of persons showing positive relations to them as well as among themselves mutually and then in the result their ≫group-forming potency≪, but also the character, the socio-psychological as well as sociological consequences of the actual ≫group structure ≪ of the population among whom the research has been carried out. The author regards this research of his — in spite of interesting and significant results — only as a first step in the sociometric research into the group factor in human relations and suggests how this research can be enriched by further thematic factors (finding out also negative group phenomena, accounting for the selection or rejection of persons, orientation of the persons examined on the moment of the leader of the group, etc.). The author points out that besides friendly and (or hostile) two-person relationships life in an actual group has a special mission and significance in the life of people and therefore classical sociometry should be supplemented by special group variants of sociometric tests.
