The process of the socialization as an elementary aspect of the ontogenetic man’s evolution and his largely social and aethical conception. Oerter’s theory of the cognitive socialization; its new interpretation as a purposeful establishing and developing of a subject’s cognitive equipment in the process of education. The school has so far met this purpose indirectly by making students operate with the learning materials of always upper complexness and fastidiousness. It is, however, necessary to build up the process of the cognitive socialization in the school programmes, to determine new and major elements (processes, mechanisms, structures) of the cognitive socialization, and find the means (especially some chosen parts of the learning materials) for their formimg and developing. One of the premises will be an attempt to establish an innovated taxanomy of the goal elements and formations. Some examples from the psychological research in the area of the controlled learning are introduced.
