(EN) On the relationship of moral and world-outlook education

The basic principles of Communist morals are based upon he Marxist-Leninist world outlook and they constitute an integral part of this outlook. Simultaneously, development of the moral qualities of a personality is an essential precondition for the realization of practical implications of the scientific world outlook in booth personal life and social activity of each pupil as well as eauch adult individual.
The effectiveness of the process of moral education based on the scientific world outlook, its emphasis on the sociály most topical relatioships and most important phenomena, depend, to a great extent, on a correct understanding of the substance of morals, their class character, social functions as well as their specific features in relation to the other forms of social consciousness.
Moral education has the task of shaping the character of Socialist people especially their moral knowledge as a system of fundamental knowledge of society’s present-day as well as prospective needs and demands on man’s moral behaviour, his or her conviction of the truth of the principles of the world scientific outlook and Communist morals, resulting in moral behaviour in which the motive, activity and result of the act of behaviour merge in dialectical unity.
An essential precondition fot the implementation of this task is not only investigation of internal and external conditions of education in moulding the world-outlook and moral profile of children and the youth, but also the creation of new conditions for the development of their world-outlook and moral qualities, especially by purposeful guidance of their schoolwork as well as their extraclass activities.
