The aim of the study was to look into the ideological effectiveness of individual subjects, lectures and seminars at Colleges of Agriculture, to find about students’ problems in mastering the Marxist- Leninist world oudook in the course of their studies.
The theory of world-oudook education of our students as well as foreign students serving as a basis, the fundamental starting point for the facts being ascertainded was the following working hypothesis; the effectiveness of communist education at College (university) is conditioned by the content of the educational process, the teacher, the methods used, and the student.
The research resulted in highlighting the need for a more profound and thorough clarification and explanation of philosophical questions to students, and, because of their exactness, it is necessary, more than hitherto, to draw on the findings of natural sciences and to use them effectively as arguments. It is necessary to make use of the seminars and tutorials to increase the students’ activity, to be consistent in seeing to the appropriateness of the demands on students, and to be systematic in creating optimal conditions for the students’ own creativeness and solution of practical tasks.
