The author shows in his article that the study of the higher nervous activity of children at an early age facilitates the deduction of new pedagogical conclusions on the one hand, and on the other hand serves to verify the well-known educational rules, which have already been tried out in practice. The article is to show that by means of the study of the higher nervous activity of children of an early age it will be possible gradually to create the pedagogics of the early age on a real scientific basis.
The author further shows that a one-year-old requires a great deal of educational work and that in the first year of life a great many educational mistakes may be committed, which may damage the psychic development of the child for the rest of his life.
