(EN) Emotional Education as part of the Educational Systém

This study deals with theoretical starting points and some conclusions resulting from a research into emotional education functioning as part of the educational system with the aim of training positive social attitudes. It also deals with hypothetic prospects for the use of emotional education and for the creation of a system of emotional education, which would be subordinated to the educational system as a whole. The present-day state of education is characterized by elements of emotional education being scattered throughout the educational process — both in the project of, and in the course of educational work. Proceeding from an analysis of the project, the research traced the level of certain selected educational target qualities or their parts: attitude to work, moral attitudes and moral relationships, pupil’s orientation in world outlook, some emotional qualities. The actual state of education in the field under research reflects and underlines the shortcomings of the research as well as shortcomings in the theory. The prospects of emotional education are dependent on the solution of a complex of questions in pedagogical and psychological theory. On the basis of the existing trends both in theory and in practice we can come to the conclusion that in the near future emotional education will not be constituted as a separate system, nor as an independent component of education, either. The significance of the emotional sphere and its utilization in the educational process will make it borate the methods and the means of this necessary for the hitherto scattered educational work in such a way as to allow ments to be included in a system. It will a rational use of the emotional sphere for be necessary to make use of the fact that educational influences as well as the emotion is represented in each partial possibilities of influencing the emotional educational aim.
