(EN) Some Results of a Socio-Pedagogical Research on the Profile of the Young Teacher

This article brings some of the results of a socio-pedagogical research concerning the profile of the young teacher. The young teacher represents a numerically substantial part of the teaching profession and will have a decisive share in implementing the educational programme in the next two decades. The qualification, social conditions, attitudes and opinions of the young teachers are significant not only from the viewpoint of feedback with the teacher’s university training, but also for the educational authorities. We believe that, taking account of the above-mentioned aspects, our paper draws attention to some problems connected primarily with the young teacher’s qualification, out-of-school activities, in-service training and the social conditions of their work. We have aided at contributing to a deeper understanding of the teacher’s problems. In this way we want to participate in the struggle for the teacher, for the formation of his profile in accordance with the needs of a socialist society. Therefore, we have investigated the problem not only on a theoretical level, but we have also tried to apply the respective bits of knowledge to the needs of the educational practice in such a way as it results from the conclusions of the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia.
