Klíčová slova / Key words:
The existing arrangement of educational care and the existing way of life are the main reasons why even Elementary School pupils lack sufficient opportunities for substantial exercise and why pupils’ physical efficiency and performance and resistance to diseases are lower than required. The unfavourable consequences of this state of affairs should be prevented by a suitable adjustment of the motion regimen. After clarifying the terms used in the theoretical discussion of this problem, the author mentions individual factors (social, biological, psychological, P. T. system) by which the motion regimen is determined. Then he speaks about the efforts to eliminate the shortcomings in the motion activity by organized care and to make suitable time and space arrangements for it in various patterns of the motion regimen suitable for Elementary School pupils. He gives a concrete description and evaluation of three different patterns which are in keeping with the present as well as prospective conditions of our educational system’s facilities. The patterns represent combinations of the organizational forms of compulsory and optional P. T. at school, in educational institutions and in P. T. organizations. In conclusion, the author gives the themes of partial researches which should result in a system of permanent measures creating the conditions for the implementation of organized national P. T. care for Elementary School pupils and providing a basis for the motion utilization of the leisure time by physical education in the family and in spontaneously formed children’s groups.
