After sending the manuscript to the e-mail address pbe@pedf.cuni.cz, the manuscript is checked by a technical editor, who can send the submitted article back to the authors if it does not meet the set criteria (citation standard, template, etc.). The manuscript is then submitted for a review to two reviewers who have no obvious conflict of interest with the author(s) and claim so in the reviewer’s form. When the two reviews’ opinions differ significantly, a third reviewer’s opinion is claimed. Reviewers make their comments using the reviewer’s form or anonymised comments directly to the manuscript and propose to the editors their suggestions with comments: acceptance of the article, acceptance of the article with minor revisions, acceptance of the article with major revisions and reject to publish the article in the conference proceedings.
If the article is accepted, the authors will receive a pre-print version to check it and also an author’s form containing a declaration of conflict of interest, all authors’ consent with their involvement and information on financial support.
