Andrej Šorgo is a professor of biology didactics in the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and a part-time researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Mathematics, both at the University of Maribor. He is a visiting professor at the Charles University in Prague. He is teaching several subjects in the fields of biology/science education, research methodology and evolution. His research interests are in exploration of factors influencing acceptance and related behavior of educational technology in education, information and digital literacy, and environmental issues.
