Martin Rusek

Martin is an assistant professor at Department of Chemistry and Chemistry Education. He specializes in chemistry education (didacics) combining pre-service teacher training and science (chemistry) education research. His education includes chemistry teaching as well as technology and IT. At his department, he teaches mainly courses focused on chemistry didactics and supervises in-school, orientation or observation practice tieing them together. In his research, he focuses on intended curriculum in all its forms, implemented curriculum via lesson observations and analyses and the attained curriculum in terms of students’ problem solving skills, science literacy or students’ curricular objective mastering. Since 2010, he has been chairman of the annual PBE conferences.
